Community News Bulletin: Sen. Meekhof announces office hours

LANSING—State Sen. Arlan Meekhof, R-West Olive, announced that he will hold office hours in the 30th Senate District throughout August.

The senator will be available to meet with constituents at the following locations and times:

Monday, Aug. 6
9 to 10 a.m.
Georgetown Township Hall
1515 Baldwin St.
Jenison

Friday, Aug. 17
9 to 10 a.m.
Delly Belly Bakery
288 Main St.
Coopersville

Monday, Aug. 20
9 to 10 a.m.
Frank’s Restaurant
134 E. Main Ave.
Zeeland

“Input from citizens is vital to the legislative process, and I hope to visit with constituents at my office hours,” Meekhof said. “I look forward to meeting with residents of west Michigan, discussing their concerns and answering any questions they may have about state government.”

Meekhof is planning additional office hours in Allendale in September. In October, Meekhof will be available to meet with constituents in Hudsonville, Holland and Grand Haven.

BRIEF:
Meekhof plans to host a series of town hall meetings this summer.

The lawmaker will be available to answer any legislative questions that residents of the 30th Senate District may have.

Another town hall meeting is planned for Tuesday, Aug. 21 in Jenison.
